Scott Hastings’ Best CFB Bets – August 31, 2019

The full slate of college football matches on a Saturday is upon us and it feels like the smell of fresh cut grass. Now you viewing over 50 matches and might be looking at your book, becoming overwhelmed and moving back into bed. I’ve made picks on five matches which may??help it become a little simpler for you.
Without further ado, here are my favorite college soccer bets for Saturday
This line has been moving all week that has left me a happy guy. I was expecting some motion in another direction following the injury to Alabama centre linebacker Dylan Moses, who’s basically the quarterback of the shield. Meanwhile, running backs Najee Harris and Brian Robinson will likely be suspended for the first half of the game, although that will detour people, this intrigues me since I am sure coach Nick Saban may want some full-team reps with Tua Tagovailoa at the second half enabling more opportunities to rack up the score.
Alabama averaged 45.6 points per game last year and using the Tagovailoa/Jerry Jeudy link, I expect another offensive juggernaut at 2019, while the lack of Moses on the defensive side of the ball could create some openings early on that Duke might be able to exploit and get some offense to help the OVER.
That the Texas Longhorns have dropped to teams and that has scared me away from backing them. I have a great deal of confidence in the Longhorns’ offense and the continued progress of quarterback Sam Ehlinger. Texas’ offense needs to be able to flex its muscles against an LA Tech team that must replace its entire defensive line and has a coordinator.
It takes two to tango and much like the Bulldogs’ defensive lineup that is revived that the Longhorns have a defense after finding victory. In totalthere are eight starters from 2018 who are not on the group this year, so there’ll be a few growing pains with this , albeit defense that is young and victory should be found by the veteran offense of LA Tech.
I have been a small bullish on Michigan heading in to the 2019 season coming from an Ohio State fan. That is the fifth year with the Wolverines excuses of Jim Harbaugh, this will be the group that you’ve assembled and I believe that they get the year started off with a bang. Last season, also have an experienced veteran squad and Michigan had four wins of 35 points or more.
The Blue Raiders played one ranked squad last year, Week 3 in Georgia, and was swarmed 49-7. Josh Gattis ought to spark some life into what seemed to be a tiny stale offense at times this past year and is your new coordinator for the Wolverines. Defensively, Michigan will be among the top schools in the country and winning by longer or 35 in Week 1 shouldn’t come as any shock.
The largest game of college soccer’s Week 1 program has a pair of teams. There is a whole lot of hype Oregon and its own quarterback Justin Herbert heading to 2019, and rightfully so. As his Ducks finished 9-4, including a triumph over Michigan State at the Redbox Bowl, the senior threw for over 3,000 yards with 29 touchdowns and eight interceptions last year.
But, true freshman Bo Nix is not able to flip heads for Auburn. The two true freshmen to start for a Power Five group both went onto win the national championship in Trevor Lawrence in 2019 and Tua Tagovailoa at 2018 , today I’m not stating the name will be won by Auburn , only that Nix isn’t any joke. In addition, within the previous two seasons at Week 1, there’s been seven matchups with teams that are rated along with the home team is 5-2 SU and ATS in those games. Finally, the Pac-12 for a road team vs the SEC has not had a win since 2009 and can be 6-13 SU 8-10-1 ATS.
I had to have a single underdog on the list and I’m looking at the West Coast for this particular one. The Huskies are currently bringing in an FCS squad and the lineup reveals the disparity between the schools. I think that is a lineup good enough with the Eagles coming from a strong showing in 2018 to jump on.
Eastern Washington had the crime in the FCS and seemed at the FCS national championship match, but lost to North Dakota State. They have eight starters along with the app in the past has been shown to be difficult against Washington. The Huskies have a quarterback , new running overall and back had to replace nine starters. Washington ranked 88th in offense last year and may stumble out of the gate mixed with all the crime of the Eagles and that is why I’m financing Eastern Washington.

Scott Hastings’ Best CFB Bets – August 31, 2019

The complete slate of college football games on a Saturday is upon us and it seems as good as the smell of cut grass. You seeing over 50 matches and may be studying your book, becoming overwhelmed and going back into bed. But, I’ve made picks on five matches that may??allow it to be a little easier for you.
Without further ado, here are my five most favorite college football stakes for Saturday, August 24:
This line has been moving down all week that has made me a happy guy. I expected some motion in another direction after the injury to Alabama center linebacker Dylan Moses, who is essentially the defense’s quarterback. Meanwhile, the running springs Najee Harris and Brian Robinson will likely be frozen for the first half of the game, although that may detour individuals, this intrigues me since I am sure coach Nick Saban may need some full-team repetitions with Tua Tagovailoa at the second half allowing more chances to rack up the score.
Alabama averaged 45.6 points a game last season and together with the Tagovailoa/Jerry Jeudy connection, I anticipate another offensive juggernaut at 2019, while the lack of Moses to the defensive side of the ball can create some openings early on this Duke may be able to harness and find some offense to help the OVER.
Back-to-back seasons, that the Texas Longhorns have dropped to unranked teams and that has frightened me away from backing them. That said I have a good deal of confidence at the continued progression of quarterback Sam Ehlinger and the offense of the Longhorns. Texas’ offense needs to be able to flex its muscles against an LA Tech team which must replace its entire line and has a defensive coordinator.
It takes two to tango and like the Bulldogs’ defensive line, the Longhorns have a new-look defense . There are eight defensive starters from 2018 who are not on the group this year, so there will be some growing pains for this , albeit defense that is youthful and LA Tech’s veteran offense should find victory.
I have been a small bullish on Michigan heading in to this 2019 season, this coming from an Ohio State fan. This is Jim Harbaugh’s fifth season with the Wolverines, no more excuses, that will be the team that you’ve constructed and I think that they get the year started off with a bang. Last season, Michigan had four wins of 35 points or more and also have an experienced veteran squad heading into 2019.
The Blue Raiders played ranked squad last year, Week 3 at Georgia, and was swarmed 49-7. Josh Gattis should spark some life into what appeared to be a tiny stale offense at times this past year and is the new offensive coordinator for the Wolverines. Defensively, Michigan will be one of the best colleges in the nation and winning from 35 or longer in Week 1 should not come as any shock.
The biggest game of the Week 1 schedule of college football has a set of ranked teams clubbed in AT&T Stadium in Texas. There is a great deal of hype Oregon and its quarterback Justin Herbert rightfully so, and heading to 2019. The senior threw for over 3,000 yards with 29 touchdowns and eight interceptions last year, as his Ducks finished 9-4, including a triumph over Michigan State at the Redbox Bowl.
But freshman Bo Nix has been not able to flip heads for Auburn. The two freshmen to start to get a Power Five group both went to win the championship in Trevor Lawrence in 2019 and Tua Tagovailoa in 2018 I’m not saying the title will be won by Auburn , just that Nix isn’t any joke. Furthermore there has been seven matchups with teams that are rated along with the home team is 5-2 SU and ATS in those games. The Pac-12 for a road group vs the SEC can be 6-13 SU 8-10-1 ATS total since 2008 and has not had a win because 2009.
I had to have a single underdog on the listing and I’m taking a look at the West Coast with this particular one. The Huskies are currently bringing in Eastern Washington for its first evaluation in an FCS squad and the lineup reflects the disparity between the schools. But, I think that is a lineup great enough with the Eagles coming off a solid showing in 2018 to leap .
Eastern Washington appeared in the FCS championship match and had the offense in the FCS, but lost to North Dakota State. They have nine starters returning and the app before has been shown to be hard against Washington. The Huskies have a brand new quarterback, new running and total had to replace nine starters. Washington could stumble out of the gate mixed with all the high-octane crime of the Eagles and ranked 88th in offense and that is why I am backing Eastern Washington.

Texas’ offense has a coordinator and ought to be able to flex its muscles from an LA Tech team which has to replace its line.
It takes two to tango and like the Bulldogs’ defensive linethat the Longhorns have a new-look defense as well after finding success on that side of the ball in 2018. Norway the Nation to Beat at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games

When you think of athletic powerhouses across the world, you believe USA, Germany, Russia.
You likely do not think about Norway, the Nordic country who is set to open a can of whoop-ass in Pyeongchang.
Either some seriously sharp Olympic bettors were piling Norway or even Bovada just eventually realized their chances were way off when they made odds for each one the respective events. We have seen some good movement over the last couple of months, since Norway has gone from +300 to +140 for total awards and +185 into -120 for golden medals.
There are currently odds for all but one of those 102 events recorded on Bovada and I decided to go through and count how many people with high 3 chances in each event are from Norway, Germany, and USA. You should probably bet on Norway at +140…
Norway: 47
Germany: 30
USA: 29
For comparison’s sake, Russia had 29 awards to take the crown in 2014, USA had 37 for shirts in 2010, and Germany had 29 in 2006. Norway hasn’t taken this title.
Now, counting the folks with top 3 odds does not mean that Norway will have 18 more medals than USA. Also consider the fact that Team USA’s odds are likely shaded. I am no doctor…or scientist…or census person, but I’d imagine Bovada has more Americans in their site than Norsemen.
In terms of the gold medals, Norway is likely still a solid bet even at -120. They’ve 22 favorites, including eight events with an odds-on favourite. Germany has 13 favorites with six odds-on, and the USA is favored in 12 events, but only three of which have an odds-on favourite. If you’re curious, those three events are women’s hockey, Mikaela Shiffrin in women’s ski slalom, and Lindsay Vonn in women’s downhill ski.
The Olympics are only a couple of days away and coming your way soon is going to function as super-duper mega Olympic guide, together with odds, picks, and results for EVERY occasion.

I Bought “Guaranteed” Wins From Instagram Handicappers.

We live in the time of social networking, where the authentic and the counterfeit share the identical land. Millions of goods and services are sold over various social networks each and every day, and among them is a service that used to exist only in the margins of their yellow pages: sports-handicapping picks.

As a result of the recent legalization of sport betting, there are tens of thousands of Instagram sports-handicapping accounts, with countless more cropping up daily. I signed up for a few of these’capping services to see if they could provide on their promises of guaranteed wins. Here is what happened.

My Methodology
To get started, I found just 100 Instagram accounts that certainly offered’pro’ sports picks in exchange for money.

I stuck with Instagram only for a couple reasons. Does Instagram have additional accounts to pick from than any other stage, but I had heard a lot of rumblings about especially lousy pick services being supplied on Instagram. Additionally, people can boast on Instagram better than anywhere else, and ultimately I had been seeking to investigate self-aggrandizing handicappers.

No social networking platform has good policing or stringent content regulators, but Instagram is a visual medium, and its governments are generally more worried about scrubbing out a deluge of more x-rated groin shots than sub-par handicappers. This can be different than, say, Twitter or Facebook, which focus a whole lot more on the industrial aspects on their own platforms.

How I Sorted During Instagram’s countless Thousands of Self-Professed Handicappers
There was a two-day lag between producing the first 100-account list along with the date I selected which ones to sign-up for. In that time, 13 of those 100 accounts were defunct. Of course, I can not conclusively state why they disappeared, but my educated guess is that they were shut down to being fraudulent or were erased by their own founders after picking too many losers.

I planned to reach out to 30 prominent handicappers and solicit their solutions. Since I wished to focus on the handicappers who’re chiefly driven by societal media, I just pursued people who took repayments through submitted Venmo, PayPal, or the CashApp speeches — I stayed off their sites.
