England Women were beaten 2-1 by Norway in their own friendly in Bergen since Caroline Graham Hansen goal finished a comeback.
Barcelona forwards Hansen punished England sloppiness progressing to the box collecting the ball from a misjudged Millie Bright pass and firing beyond Carly Telford.
This came after a Frida Maanum header in the 53rd minute had cancelled out the excellent 10th-minute attack of Georgia Stanway.
The winless since their 3-0 win against Norway in the quarter-finals of this summer World Cup in France now stands at four streak for Phil Neville’s side games.
After Kristine Minde had led an attempt wide for Norway, England grabbed the lead when Steph Houghton’s pass had been touched by Nikita Parris into Stanway, whose effort from approximately 25 yards out went in off the bar.
Since the hosts searched to earn a swift response, Maanum led Karina Saevik along with off-target then fired after Lucy Bronze – the right-back again playing with the Lionesses in midfield – lost possession.
A low drive wide from Guro Reiten followed until her luck tried again that the stretching Toni Duggan could not prevent from going wide because she tried to fulfill a cut-back closely and an air-kick was made by Amalie Eikeland.
Reiten went close with a curling 33rd-minute effort, and afterwards Jodie Taylor was subsequently twice thwarted before goal at the opposite end by interceptions, Telford was called upon at stoppage period to push away a goal-bound Saevik delivery.
The stages of the second half watched Stanway Telford turn an Eikeland photo and skew an attempt wide.
As Maanum, Norway attracted degree from the resulting corner and sent the ball beyond Telford.
Bronze put England back ahead heading Parris’ cross wide. Taylor subsequently missed involving 2 Hansen shots.
Bronze then saw one attempt fly off-target and had another blocked by a team-mate, before Hansen made the most of Intelligent passing the ball directly to her, amassing it just inside England’s half, shooting it into the area, beyond the diving challenge of Houghton, and lashing a shot to the net.
