As a comeback was completed by Caroline Graham Hansen’s late goal for the hosts Norway in their friendly beat england Women 2-1 in Bergen.
Barcelona forwards Hansen punished England sloppiness collecting the ball from a Millie Bright pass that is misjudged, progressing to the box and firing past Carly Telford.
This came after the excellent 10th-minute strike of Georgia Stanway was cancelled out by a Frida Maanum header at the 53rd minute.
The winless run for Phil Neville’s side since their 3-0 win against Norway in the summer’s World Cup in France’s quarter-finals stands in four games.
England grabbed the lead when Nikita Parris touched Steph Houghton’s overhaul to Stanway, whose effort from approximately 25 yards out went in off the bar after Kristine Minde had headed an early effort wide for Norway.
As the hosts searched to earn a swift response, Maanum led Karina Saevik and off-target fired over after Lucy Bronze – playing at midfield for the Lionesses – lost ownership.
A low drive created by Guro Reiten followed until her luck tried with a hit the stretching Toni Duggan couldn’t prevent from moving wide as she tried to fulfill with a cut-back and an air-kick was made by Amalie Eikeland.
Reiten went close with a curling 33rd-minute effort, and after Jodie Taylor was then thwarted before goal at the opposite end by interceptions, Telford was called upon in first-half stoppage time to push a goal-bound Saevik delivery.
The second half’s phases watched Stanway Telford turn an Eikeland shot and skew an attempt broad.
Norway attracted amount as Maanum and sent the ball beyond Telford.
Bronze put England back heading Parris’ cross broad. Taylor afterward missed with a header, between 2 Hansen shots.
Bronze then found one effort fly off-target and had another blocked by a team-mate, until Hansen made the majority of Intelligent passing the ball directly to her, collecting it just within England’s half, carrying it in the area, past the diving struggle of Houghton, and lashing a shot into the net.
